Most beautiful desolate place I've been. Miles of sharp jagged lava rocks meet the ocean is it roars and slams into the rock. I felt the ground under my feet tremble as each wave hit the cliffs. Check out the story behind it on my journal! [link]
Ah worth the hike. Love this shot of yours. Makes me homesick. My favourite desolate place was the North Shore of Moloka'i. Especially the sanctuary of Wailau. Somedays, when there's been enough rain, every wall of the valley is decked out in what seems like hundreds of white ribbons, each one a waterfall. It is spectacularly beautiful and lonely.
Did you use to live here? Ah yes I am looking forward to heading over there soon, I hear it's beautiful and pretty quiet as far as population goes. Sounds like a beautiful place!
This photo is soo powerful in soo many ways! What a great composition, the waves crashing against the rocks, a great battle between Earth and Sea! Well done my friend! Where was this taken may I ask?
